On-the-Job Assistance (OJA)

Process

1. Faculty Consultancy Project

Once an NGO/CBO contacts LUMS for consultancy and describes its requirement, we will evaluate a number of factors like the scope of the assistance (long-term or short-term), the type of help, resource persons, logistics, and costs involved. These will be incorporated in the Terms of Reference (TOR). This is Phase-1 of the consultancy process termed as Problem Identification.

Once the TOR is approved by the organization, LUMS will initiate Phase-2, that is, the actual consultancy. The duration of the entire consultancy will depend upon its scope. A final report containing possible solutions to the problems identified will be submitted to the organization at the end, only if it is a long-term consultancy project.
