About SEDC

SEDC was launched in response to the phenomenal growth in the number of NGOs in Pakistan, particularly over the past two decades. This has led to the need for improvement in the management skills and organizational structures of the hundreds of NGOs and community based organizations active in the country. The government's decision to restructure local government organizations also necessitates the need for the new district social service officers to be trained in modern management systems and procedures. To meet these challenges, organizations must continually develop their managerial talent.
